Central Ore Depository.
April 14, 2008
By PG Friday.
As more and more mining barges come online in the fleet, the need to have a centralised point to distribute ore from is essential to the confederation. Without a freighter or transport, all miners will need to deliver their ore to the Central Depository located in Oppold IX Imperial Armament factory. The ore will be contracted over to PG Friday. The ore will be tabulated up and distributed to the contributing members on Monday and Friday morning.
The need for this will help facilitate the goal of a 24/7 mining operation for the CIM. All pilots will be able to mine and deposite ore at their leisure.

CIM 20 QAI 0
April 8, 2008
By PG Friday
This weekend proved to be a success for CIM. Apparently we are at war with Quality Assurance Inc. To date we have lost zero ships while their loss is at 20 ships. In the war, they seem to favor the cruiser. Everytime they have attempted to attack our fleet, Concord has blown them up. It is a good thing they have deep pockets. As they continue to amount losses, desperation seems to have gotten the better of their leadership. Whether one on one or many of them against one, their ships continue to get blown up. I believe their so call ace "Tuvar Heide" took a big loss when his battlecruiser met it's demise at the hand of Concord during The Battle of Geras. We manage to retrieve his fittings he left behind. He tried to save face by coming back in a osprey, and if that wasn't enough, he went and got a Moa Cruiser. With their amounting losses we will be able to equip our fleet with their own fittings.

110 Million Minig Ops...
March 28, 2008
This week the CIM unveiled its' new concept for 24.7 mining operations. One of the features of the new system incorporates a bi weekly payday. With the increase capacity of the current fleet of six mining barges, the bookkeeping needed to keep the miners profitable needed to be devised. The new system divides the week into two halves. A typical week will run from Friday to Friday. From Friday morning to Monday morning all ore gather by miners will be collected into a central depository and then redistributed out to the miners on Monday morning payday. All the ore collected from Monday morning to Friday morning will also be collect and payout on the friday morning.
Why have a system in place to distribute ore?
Many pilots and eve citizens have asked this imporatant question. It is important to establish a good system for bookkeeping and accounting in the confederation why the fleet is in its' infancy. Every week we are growing in size, capabilty, and complexity. This new pay system will insure all miners will receive their fair share of profits.
In the confederation we have a 1/4 profit policy which provides that all pilots involved in the mining...

Combat Training Underway...
March 25, 2008
As the young fleet grows, it will become necessary to build a security force for the overall fleet. Last night is a good example of why. Thrackani, Atchoit, Johnny, and Myself were out doing some simple missions when two goofballs from my old corporation tried to use a cheap plow to provoke a altercation. The two followed our fleet to two different mission locations and proceeded to pickup loot from vessels we destroyed. The idea was to hope that a young miner would mistakingly pickup the wrong can. Unfortunately, Thrackani was not wise to this technique. He ended up losing his battlecruiser, his second loss of the week. In a interview Thrack claimed, " ... i chose to buy the lower end model after my other cruiser was accidently blown up by Concord..." The good news is that the confederation 1/4 profit policy allows for young miners to mass great wealth in a short period of time. With the help of other miners in the confederation the lost was easily overcome by the end of the night.
The incident from last night shows the desperate exploits that some corporations will go through to promote their campaign of immaturity. The...

The first blog...
March 19, 2008
This is the first blog of the Confederation of Independent Miners, or a pilot program if you will. What has been happening? This month we have been focusing on building the capacity of the young fleet., and many pilots have taken up the initiative to cross train into other areas that will be important later on. Profitability has been good and consistent. It probably isn't the highest profitable margin in the game, but it is definately one of the strongest. With the complex structure of a non-corporate fleet, everyday is a challange to stay orginised. The main focus is on having fun, and the second focus is making sure everyone is profitable. We will probably do a mining ops tonight.
